Simpsongs Medley 2020
Переглядів 744 роки тому
I love the Simpsons. No hyperbole, they honestly fill me with a feeling that simply is love. Warmth and contentment. They are my friends, a beautiful constant in my life, and this aptly named medley, Simpsongs, is my little testimony to that. It doesnt matter if the thing you love is a silly television show that has been the walking dead for about 20 years! If you love it, you wanna do a nice t...

Sorry but I found this video really hard to follow. First the music was not necessary and then it was difficult to follow her fast hand movements. It also doesn’t help that I’m left handed

Youn can watch the vidéo in slower mode. At the upper right of the screen touch the ring and it open, the second line give you the speed that you would like the video to run. You can watch slower or faster. I agree, the music is not always appropriate to understand 😂, you can also turn it of... good luck, also there are some video that teach left hand tatting. Just write "left hand tatting" for your research and you'll find at least one.

Cute little snowflake. Please consider slowing down and showing when you reverse work and how you are holding work, in which direction, before moving on to next section.

Beautiful. I just learned to tat by watching videos, and came across yours. Loved how you used both your thumb and index finger on your left hand to switch back and forth to make the double-stitches. I can hope that I develop the dexterity you have! Also loved your little demonstrator of your snowflake mobile.

Hi Jodis, I love this video! You did a great job. It is for the experienced needle tatter and that is just fine with me. One thing I learned from a shuttle tatter that cleared up many issues for me is the tip “remember that tatting is ALWAYS done clockwise”. (See tatted treasures vids). Once I knew that everything in tatting travels clockwise I stopped getting confused about why my chains or rings suddenly went off in some weird direction. Thanks for your vid, and blessings to you in Iceland from sunny Florida, USA.

It's beautiful work! I'm impressed by the style your doing the DS with. It's very similar to what looks to be a knitting cast on. The fact you even post in English is a feat in and of itself. Your translation is excellent! I'm thinking that the method you use is more efficient but as I am new to tatting I'll have to practice to see if it's so. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Eva! I watched a couple of technique videos before trying your pattern, and I find your video easy to follow. I like that the instructions are written instead of spoken, I like to be able to turn the sound off. Will start on the 5th chain part next, looking good (for my first piece) so far :)

I have to agree with Linda and others here: Slow Down! If you don't want to slow down, then my suggestion is to use video software to slow down the video during editing. Then, perhaps do a voice over instead with captions because we cannot simultaneously read and watch. I'm impressed by how quickly you can tat, but perhaps this isn't a tutorial, it's more like a techniques, run-thru vid. When you start off, perhaps show a slow motion recap of the stitch you're using beforehand, then show your hands making multiple stitches cause I know how you crochet well but cannot see what stitches you're doing (I can't see if the string is behind or in front of the needle). Thanks for the video references at the end for people to learn more about how to do this! Thanks 😊

úti heyri ég úlfsins gól, inni vagga ég barni, næðir vindur um hlið og hól, hér er logi á arni. Þú úlfur, úlfur, ber þig burt, barn í örmum mér vef ég, þú úlfur, úlfur, ber þig burt, barn mitt þér aldrei gef ég. Úlfur vælir um vetranótt, vel skal barninu hlífa, sultur hefur að onum sótt, hann vill barn í sig rífa, Þú úlfur, úlfur, ber þig burt, barn í örmum mér vef ég, þú úlfur, úlfur, ber þig burt, barn mitt þér aldrei gef ég. Sof nú væran, ég vagga þér, veröld bíður þín síðar, sofðu rótt sem ég raula mér, reikar úlfur um hlíðar. Þú úlfur, úlfur, ber þig burt, barn í örmum mér vef ég, þú úlfur, úlfur, ber þig burt, barn mitt þér aldrei gef ég.
